I got the greenhouse early. That is ok. I was home but it came a week early. The bigger issue is that it is missing screws. I am in the middle of finishing it up and I will have to wait for replacement of the screws or a response if I can use screws that I have a huge excess of.

Absolutely love this greenhouse. It's a lot of work to put up and I would advise getting a powered caulking gun to caulk every seem but it's worth it. Put it up last autumn for early spring use. We have had several weekends and days with 50+ mile per hour winds and above. So far 2 blizzards but not one bit of snow inside the greenhouse and it's solid. We did purchase anchors and anchored it down since we know our winter weather. Oh, heck that's nothing compared to some of the summer storms. Can't wait to start using it next month to get a jump start on my gardening. Highly recommend if you want something that looks great in your yard and holds up. Looks far better than those plastic dome ones that one good storm can cause damage to.

Although I was very upset with the packaging process and the fact that I did not receive any instructions on how to assemble this. My grandchildren were very excited to Santa brought them a gingerbread house as they would say!

It relatively easy to put together but a team of two people is recommended.
-This is not cedar at all, it is some type of light weight wood that tends to split easily if you place the screws too close to an edge.
-Some of the holes are indeed too close to the edge and the wood will split. Some epoxy, wood clamps and new holes will be necessary in some places.
-Mechanical parts like the door lock and the ventilation hinge are cheap plastic. You will need to replace them.
-The unit once put all together needs a good preserving coating. The wood is treated but give that it splits easily the coating will not last too long.
-For some simple hobby stuff it is a good buy and it will fit easily in small places.

I am really satisfied with this product. It was very easy to put together. We had 4x4 pressure treated lumber and pea gravel laid down for the foundation and built the house on the 4x4s. My biggest concern was wind. We get 60-70 mile winds and I was so afraid of it blowing away. We secured the building down with ties to the 4x4s and it's been a year (all 4 seasons) and she's holding up fantastic. My only regret is not getting the bigger size.

Absolutely LOVE this greenhouse!!!! The assembly directions were so easy to follow. All the pieces were clearly marked. Put most of it together by myself (only required assistance for 1 step). If you are looking for a great quality greenhouse you have found it here. Added some automatic vent owners (also found on Amazon) and a misting system. DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP!!! YOU'LL BE HAPPY YOU DIDN'T.

I used 6 tubes of silicone to seal the panels inside and out.
I used a screen door piston as an automatic door closer. Also used small corner shelves on the inside.

Spent a lot of effort sealing the joints. Had to cut the fitting grooves till poly panels fit tightly, used special vente tape on end joints, that tape gets moisture out of panels. Always install panels with white side out to let the UV coating protect from sun cracking the joints over time. Peel white coating off and seal with clear DAP goop. The top vents require special to fit snugly, use ladder up against the greenhouse, we used full length 2x4s bedded in concrete and then drilled and lag bolted into ground to stabilize to the ground. Put front door together with more caulking. Spent time on door latches to hold it open during hot summer. Installing diesel heater for winter, goal is to keep it around 50 degrees, using temperature gauge in house to keep it so know right what it is. We stained the wood and plan to do annually. On the diesel heater it can click the glow plug loudly, but they have a quiet kit. Got another kit that allows use of five gallon fuel cans, get two and switch back and forth. If you go electric heat you will need to bury electrical and deal with wimpy 1500 electrical heat, imagine that 1500 watts as being like a blow dryer going round the clock. We have given some thought to adding tarp screen to outside to shade for summer, try Harbor freight for that. Amazon sells nice shelf and braces in sets of two for setting plants on. Water with small lawn sprinkler heads attached to timers.

Beautiful greenhouse! Withstood ice storm and snow storm! It was NOT as easy to assemble as some reviews say, but we got it done. My husband and I are not builders, so it took us a few days to build. We had a friend help when we got to the part of sliding in ceiling tiles. Our greenhouse is the 8 x 16 kit. However, I am 100% pleased with this kit.

Good quality playhouse. I like that it is all wood. The hinges provided for the door were not the rights ones. Had to go to local hardware store and buy replacement ones so that stinks but my granddaughter loves it so 5 stars.

Took just a few hours working at a leisurely pace to assemble. Then we sealed it with a transparent sealing stain. Little Lady loves it. Just don't overtighten the wood screws.

Great little outdoor playhouse. It was extremely easy to assemble. The working doorbell is a highlight for the kids.

SO glad with this purchase- was so easy for me to put together my myself bit by bit while my toddler took naps. Instructions were great, parts clearly labeled. Bonus which I ever expected- the wood smells amazing!! When the sun shines on this and warms it up it smells divine! My daughter is loving her little house.
